My Projects

  • OptiRoute: A mapping tool that calculates the optimal route to visit a set of locations. Instead of making you insert each point into the tool, OptiRoute uses GeoRSS feeds as the source of locations. This allows you to use any of your existing maps (Google Maps, Bing Maps) as the source of the points, and determine the best route to visit the all of those points.
  • iPhone geoCoding: Shows how you can use location information via the web-browser. (Safari on the iPhone 3.0 supports location).
  • My social home-page: A page that demonstrates the consumption of JSON objects retrieved from a variety of web-services (Flickr, Twitter and Blogger). In addition the page uses JQuery to process the JSON objects.
  • Denver Traffic Cameras: Virtual Earth mashup of traffic cameras in Denver county.
  • Forward and reverse geo-coder tool A tool that allows you to find the address of any location on the map. (Also provides you a way to navigate to a location using traditional address lookup).
  • Denver Neighborhoods Map: A Google mashup map of neighborhoods in Denver.
  • Obama image mosaic: An image mosaic and a deep zoom example created from images of news-paper front pages taken on the day after the inauguration of President Obama.
  • Phonetic alphabets
Phonetic alphabets allows you to break a word into phonetics. The tool is optimized for the iPhone, but can be used in any browser application. Uses the NATO phonetics standard.
